Santi brings timeless honest Italian cuisine to the Sonoma County Wine Country. Familiar and provocative dishes recall treks through the Italian Countryside—yet the setting is a historic 1902 landmark building in the Alexander Valley. The vision of the chefs is to return to a time when ingredients were always seasonal, fresh, and locally grown, and complemented by wines from neighboring vineyards. The rhythm of the seasons is respected at Santi. Proprietor and General Manager, Doug Swett shares their vision of an Italian country taverna where social gatherings are about honoring guests with the very best they can offer. The evolution is naturally endless, but it always leaves room to emphasize favorite dishes. They are making their own pasta, olives, Italian liqueurs, gelato, sorpressata, salumi, sausages sometimes using century old recipes. Santi uses produce and herbs from their own garden in back of the restaurant or from local growers and purveyors.
