Congregation Shir Shalom

Congregation Shir Shalom ("Song of Peace") is Sonoma's only synagogue:an intimate Reform temple, welcoming different levels of Jewish practice, and providing a comfortable setting for worship, learning, and schmoozing. Background: About 3,800 years ago -- give or take a generation -- a man named Avraham set off with his family to find the Promised Land. Eventually, and for various reasons, some of his descendants settled in Sonoma Valley.
